The Chenin Blanc grape has flourished on the Quails’ Gate Estate for more than 20 years. Quails’ Gate is one of the few vineyards in the Okanagan growing the versatile Chenin Blanc. This grape can be made in a variety of styles, from dry to sweet and even sparkling: the dry Chenin we produce has been served to a number of VIPs including US President Obama (2007 vintage) and William and Catherine, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge (2010 vintage).
Expect inviting aromas of passionfruit, lemongrass and white peach. This wine displays a beautiful, vibrant acidity with flavours of citrus and stone fruit, followed by a delicate, lingering finish.
Our Orchard Block Gewürztraminer is made in the traditional Alsace style and showcases grapes from our 1989 vineyard planting originally home to our family’s peach and cherry orchards.
This small-lot Gewürztraminer reveals a multi-nuanced core with enough balance and depth to impress any connoisseur. This vintage embodies sun-kissed nuances, honeyed aromatics, a remarkable length and underlying tropical notes on the finish.

Fermented separately on skins for two weeks and aged in French oak for 28 months. Expect inviting notes of red licorice, plum and vanilla. On the palate, this medium-bodied wine is well structured presenting silky tannins with flavours of cedar and cocoa powder followed by a long finish.
80% Merlot, 12% Cabernet Franc, 5% Cabernet Sauvignon, 1.5% Petit Verdot, 1.5% Malbec
Our Upper Boucherie bench vineyard is a southern exposure site featuring volcanic soils chock-full of mineral deposits. It is one of the few sites in the Kelowna area that ripens blocks of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah. Queue not only captures the essence of these blocks, but it is also derived from the Latin word cõda which in music, is an arrangement that punctuates the end of a symphony. Queue – the winemaker’s composition.
Our 2021 Queue carries forward an open and expansive bouquet full of blueberry, cocoa and violet. On the palate, rich waves of black pepper and inescapably supple tannins interlace throughout. The long finish builds gradually with equal measures of strength and elegance.
