At Quails’ Gate, farming has always required patience and perspective. Vines planted decades ago continue to shape the wines we enjoy today — a reminder that what we nurture over time defines what we share.
As part of our Heirloom series, Estate Dry Riesling returns as a vibrant expression of that long view.

Rooted in Estate Vineyards
Our Riesling vines are now more than 30 years old, extending deep into ancient soils and producing small clusters with characteristic minerality and intensity.
The 2025 vintage opens with aromas of lemon, lime, and peach. On the palate, bright citrus is carried by balanced acidity — precise, refreshing, and beautifully structured for the table.
A wine defined by clarity and energy, Dry Riesling reflects both site and season in equal measure.

From Garden to Table
To celebrate its release, we’re pairing Estate Dry Riesling with shelling peas — a spring staple that signals the beginning of the growing season.
Alongside the seeds, we’re sharing a simple recipe: Spring Pea Salad.
Bright, green, and full of texture, fresh peas and tender asparagus echo the wine’s citrus lift and vibrant acidity. Creamy avocado and feta add richness and balance, while herbs, pistachios, and a basil‑lemon dressing bring freshness and energy to the palate — a mirror to the wine’s poise and precision.
Simple ingredients. Clean flavours. A dish that feels like the first warm evening of the year.
Because what we plant today shapes what we share tomorrow.
