Our Distinction Collection offers enthusiasts handcrafted, experimental wines that fine-tune combinations of varieties, clones, rootstocks and winemaking techniques. Like the pattern of a quail’s egg of which no two are alike, each batch of wine is unique and bottled in small lots.
Crafted from selected parcels of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay on the Naramata Bench. The 2020 season started with a cool spring, delaying fruit-set and limiting yields. A warm dry summer lead into a temperate autumn, allowing for longer hangtime in the vineyard. The combination of these conditions created consistent ripening throughout the growing season, resulting in ideally balanced sugars and acids to produce traditional method sparkling wine.
A lively and aromatic wine, with bright citrus and orchard fruit aromas. Enjoy a complex palate of Meyer lemon, Anjou pear, and toast lead into a savoury finish with biscuit and chalky minerality.
Originating in Germany’s Mosel region, Clone 21B has defined many of the great wines from the homeland of the Riesling variety. Known for mouthwatering acidity, lifted aromatics, and a pronounced minerality, 21B crafts complex and age worthy examples of Riesling.
A rich and rounded expression of Riesling, beginning with ripe citrus aromas of clementine along with Bartlett pear and tropical papaya. On the palate the acidity is balanced with texture from partial oak fermentation, concluding with a crushed stone minerality on the finish.
From its Loire Valley origins in France to the Okanagan Valley, this grape has flourished on our estate vineyard for more than 20 years. This exclusive Chenin release comes in small batches and is delicately fermented and aged in a concrete egg for added complexity and depth.
On the nose you’ll find freestone peach, nectarine, Meyer lemon and Jonagold apple. A well-structured wine, with a bright citrus forward palate of lime zest, clementine, and nectarine balanced with tropical guava and a slatey minerality.
Our Estate Vineyard in West Kelowna is a southern exposure site featuring volcanic soils chock-full of mineral deposits. It is one of the few sites in the Kelowna area that ripens blocks of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah. Queue not only captures the essence of these blocks, but it is also derived from the Latin word cõda which in music, is an arrangement that punctuates the end of a symphony. Our 2022 Queue opens with an expansive bouquet full of black cherry, plum and cocoa. Rich waves of dark fruit and inescapably supple tannins interlace throughout.
