We have something truly special to raise a glass to this season — in fact, we have two reasons!

We’re thrilled to share that our very own Chef Roger Sleiman, Executive Chef at Quails’ Gate Estate Winery, has been inducted into the 2025 BC Restaurant Hall of Fame. Recognized as a Local Champion, Chef joins an inspiring group of culinary leaders, visionaries, and innovators who have helped shape British Columbia’s vibrant food scene. This honour couldn’t be more deserved — or more perfectly timed.

As we mark the 25th anniversary of Old Vines Restaurant, Chef’s induction feels like the perfect toast to the passion, creativity, and leadership he has brought to our table over the years. His unwavering commitment to seasonality, sustainability, and storytelling through food has helped define the dining experience here at Quails’ Gate — making Old Vines a true destination for wine and food lovers alike.

The BC Restaurant and Foodservices Association (BCRFA) will celebrate Chef and 22 other inductees at a special Hall of Fame dinner this October in Vancouver. It’s the 20th anniversary of the Hall of Fame itself, which makes this year’s recognition even more meaningful. We couldn’t be prouder to see Chef’s name alongside BC’s most celebrated chefs, restaurateurs, and industry champions.

From Chef’s inspired menus to our valley views, this is a year full of milestones and memorable moments. Whether you’ve dined with us once or return season after season, we invite you to celebrate with us — because none of this would be possible without the guests, growers, and team members who make Quails’ Gate so special.

Join us and raise a glass — to Chef Roger Sleiman, to Old Vines Restaurant, and to 25 delicious years.
