At Quails’ Gate, farming the land has always been a family tradition — a craft shaped over generations. To plant a vine, to tend a garden, to set a table — each is an act of belief in what comes next.

This spring, we’re proud to introduce Heirloom White, a wine rooted in history, crafted for today, and designed to evolve with the seasons ahead.

Rooted in Chasselas

Heirloom White is anchored by Chasselas, an heirloom grape first planted on our estate in 1961. It continues to define our signature white blend alongside Pinot Gris. Fresh, poised, and refined, this versatile blend reflects both the continuity of our vineyards and our enduring commitment to quality.  The result is a wine that feels familiar in the best way: bright orchard fruit, citrus, subtle florals, and a texture that carries beautifully from aperitif to table. Chasselas is back — and it remains at the heart of this wine.

From Garden to Table

To celebrate the release, we’re pairing Heirloom White with a limited collection of Heirloom Seeds, beginning with thyme — a natural companion to the wine’s brightness and elegance.

Alongside the seeds, we’re sharing a favourite recipe: Meyer Lemon-Thyme Pasta. Simple ingredients. Fresh herbs. A dish built for spring and early summer evenings. The citrus and herbs echo the wine’s orchard fruit and lift its freshness, while the texture of the pasta complements its poise and balance.

This is the kind of meal we return to year after year — generous, repeatable, and meant to be shared.
