About Tamara Vrooman
Tamara Vrooman is an award-winning leader known for her exemplary track record leading large, complex institutions across both private and public sectors. Currently President & CEO of YVR, Tamara previously served for 13 years as the President & CEO of Vancity, transforming Canada’s largest community credit union into a global benchmark for values-based banking.
She has held prominent governance roles, including Chair of the Canada Infrastructure Bank and the Rick Hansen Foundation, and today serves as Simon Fraser University’s 12th Chancellor, Chair of the Canadian Airports Council, and a Board member of the Greater Vancouver Board of Trade. Recognized with the Order of British Columbia and named the Canadian Business Leader of the Year (2025), Tamara brings unparalleled expertise in sustainability, governance, and inclusive leadership.
About Renee Lytle
With over 30 years of executive leadership experience, Renee Lytle brings deep expertise in financial oversight, corporate governance, and organizational culture. As Chief Financial Officer of EB Horsman & Son—a 5th-generation, family- and employee-owned company—she has played a vital role in driving sustainable growth and inclusivity while navigating complex business environments.
Renee also serves on several boards, including Atira BC and Nexus Support Services, and has previously held governance roles with Electro-Federation Canada and the Seniors Come Share Society. She holds the ICD.D, MBA, CPA, and Family Enterprise Advisor designations, underscoring her lifelong commitment to governance and learning.
