This aged wine shows an intense mix of dark berries and violets together with white pepper and clove for a complex bouquet. The 2014 Boswell Syrah displays graceful form and structure. This vintage shows great finesse while exposing rosemary, highly perfumed violets, smoked meats and white pepper aromatics throughout. Aging has taken the highly structured tannins and created a cashmere palate, complex fruits, smoked meats and a warming long finish. Delightful when paired with beef short ribs, lamb kebab, coffee and maple syrup-brined pork or blue cheese. Enjoy now through 2026.
– 2015 –
This highly coveted 2015 Syrah has aged beautifully with complex aromas of lavender, violet, white pepper, blueberry and licorice on the nose. The palate is smooth and rich with flavours of deep black fruit, French oak notes of vanilla, spice and hints of leather mingling with elegant supple tannins that linger in the mouth. Enjoy this wine paired with shawarma lamb or an array of aged stronger flavoured hard cheeses. Enjoy now through 2027.
